I am loving this industrial vintage style apartment, with large windows and high ceilings. The bedroom blue walls are oh so gorgeous. But my favourite part of this house is the kitchen. Beautiful lamp, white tiles with black grout, cute vintage map and open shelving really make me happy! The one thing I would change: the granite countertops. I hate them with a passion.

Adoro este apartamento de janelas enormes, tetos altos e estilo industrial vintage. As paredes do quarto em azul escuro complementam este estilo, e a casa, maravilhosamente. Mas o meu espaço favorito é mesmo a cozinha: um candeeiro muito giro, azulejos brancos com argamassa preta, mapa vintage e prateleiras abertas, fazem o meu estilo! A única coisa que mudava: a bancada em granito deveria ser em mármore.

I am loving this gorgeous young girl's bedroom with dark grey walls and white furniture. It looks so delicate and trendy at the same time. The white floors keep the room light despite the dark walls. I really like the La Reverie print by Renoir. It introduces some pink hues that complement the colour scheme.

Estou a adorar este lindo quarto de menina com paredes cinzento escuro e mobília branca. O espaço, apesar da cor arrojada, é muito delicado e o chão branco impede que se torne demasiado escuro.  Gosto muito do poster La Reverie de Renoir que complementa a esquema de cores do quarto com tons rosa. 

Vintage inspired illustrations by ARMINHO

ARMINHO

Beautiful illustrations and notebooks coming out of Arminho studio, in Porto. Raquel and João are the creative minds behind Arminho and they take their inspiration from vintage objects, books and illustrations they find at flea markets. They use the technic of letterpress printing which makes their production completely handmade. I am specially loving the geology chart (I'm a geologist after all) and the cooking books. That would make a beautiful gift. Have a look at the whole collection on their website and etsy shop.

Estou a adorar as ilustrações e cadernos lindíssimos da Arminho. A Raquel e o João são as mentes criativas deste estúdio, situado no Porto, e a maior fonte de inspiração para eles são os objectos vintage, livros e ilustrações que encontram nos mercados de antiguidades. No estúdio usam a técnica de impressão tipográfica (letterpress) o que faz com que a produção seja completamente feita à mão. Gosto especialmente do geology chart (não há nada a fazer, sou geóloga) e os cooking books. Uma excelente ideia para prenda. Para verem mais produtos visitem o website e a loja etsy. 

Beautiful in Gothenburg

I am loving the muted colours in this Gothenburg home, for sale at Stadshem. I specially like the kitchen and the fact that the owners went with the bold choice of combining white kitchen cabinets with black appliances. I think this is becoming a trend in Scandinavian homes and I really like it. I am also loving the abstract art on the living room. It reminds me of the beautiful Waves print by Kristina Krogh.

Estou a adorar as cores neutras deste apartamento em Gotemburgo, que se encontra à venda no site Stadshem. Gosto especialmente da cozinha e do facto de os donos desta casa terem decidido combinar armários brancos com electrodomésticos pretos. Parece-me que isto se está a tornar moda nas cozinhas Escandinavas. Também gosto muito da arte abstracta na sala. Faz-me lembrar o maravilhoso print Waves da Kristina Krogh.

Another Fantastic Frank house, too good not to share. I love how the decoration is fresh and youthful, the amazing wall art display, the somewhat bold choice of colour for the living room and just the quirky little details everywhere. This house reminds me that the best interiors are the ones that reflect the owner's personal style.

Adoro a decoração fresca e jovem, a coleção de quadros e como estão dispostos, a cor fora do comum da sala e os pormenores peculiares que se encontram por todo o lado. Original sem ser forçado.
